Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
One child was strapped onto my back while the other crawled in the playpen. I stayed up all night days over months of sanding, and removing wallpaper, and with just one child. Ha! The whole thing started to be clear, but wasn't quite finished. It would take an enormous amount of work and an enthusiasm of shopping. In order to stay within the budget, I started going with my boys to estate sales looking for of diamonds. The schedule we had for the week which consisted of spending the week from Thursday through Saturday walking around estate and garage sales, buying old and new things. I then spent the remainder of the week painting and sanding on the driveway. The furniture I found looked like... this is when my desire to repair furniture began. Even after our house was furnished I couldn't put it down! In the market in town I set up a little area and then sold a few items. Eventually I had more pieces that I had no idea about and outgrew the area. I started having open houses in my home that saw more than 1 000 visitors came through on the span of a weekend. They could buy anything they saw on the first floor. Growing Days was created in this house. As my business flourished as did our family. It was a balance between starting a business as well as being a mom. Growing Days was the obvious choice. Nora came into our lives in 2013 and became our fourth baby. I was thrilled with where my company was going, but I wanted some time off. I decided to quit building my old furniture for a few months and stay home with the kids. This was just what I was looking for. However, after just a couple of minutes, my phone began ringing. A lot of people contacted me to ask for advice about home improvement or decorating. The majority of them walked into my house during my furniture open houses. I started taking on some customers one by one taking my time however it wasn't time before I was running multiple accounts and was running an entire home improvement business. If you'd told me that my venture would end up being an idea for the DIY Network show, I likely would have thought you were crazy. If I think at it, it has made me giggle.
